Allergy reactions are becoming more common as more and more chemicals are introduced into our environment.  Common sources are foods and the myriad of chemicals in so many of our consumer products.

Skin rashes commonly are a reaction to foods and chemical allergens.
Generally allergies require three steps to develop:
1) Initial contact /introduction to allergen.  This generally does not trigger a reaction.
2) Immune system recognizes the specific allergen and begins to create superficial antibodies
3) Reaction ...most commonly a skin rash.  If allergen is in high enough concentration or there is repeated exposure, the immune system reacts.  Most people this reaction (histamine ~ a neurotransmitter) is minor and temporary.  However, many people this reaction can be more significant especially when the immune system is hypersensitive from other health challenges.
